Yes! An attorney will be retained to represent and guide you through the Surrogacy Contract and Pre-Birth Judgment. The attorney will explain in detail your responsibilities, benefits package, compensation, and the cessation of parental rights.

All reasonable and necessary expenses that are incurred during the surrogacy cycle will be paid for by the Intended Parent(s). Examples of these expenses include, but not limited to legal fees, psychological evaluation, lost wages, medical appointments/procedures, all medications directly related to the surrogacy cycle, and childcare reimbursements. These items and those not listed are covered in your surrogacy contract that is reviewed with the attorney who will represent you.

Most surrogates feel nothing during the transfer procedure. It is painless and lasts only a few minutes.

During the fertility treatment cycle, you will take medications orally, vaginally and through intramuscular injections. Each physician’s office has a different medication protocol. The particular physician’s office that you will be working with will explain in detail your medications, side effects if any, and what will be expected of you.

Yes. To be a Gestational Surrogate, that is not a problem.

At OneWorld Generations, we understand the importance of a timely matching process for surrogates. We aim to match surrogates successfully within approximately 2 weeks after completing our internal screening process. However, it’s important to note that the matching timeline may vary depending on various factors, including the specific preferences of the intended parents, any specific requirements or preferences you may have as a surrogate, and the availability of suitable matches within our program. Rest assured, we strive to facilitate a prompt and efficient matching process to ensure a smooth journey for both surrogates and intended parents.

The level of contact between surrogates and intended parents can vary depending on individual preferences and agreements. Some surrogates and intended parents choose to maintain regular communication throughout the pregnancy and establish a relationship, while others prefer more limited contact.

In the event of complications, the medical team will provide appropriate care and support to ensure the well-being of both you and the baby. The surrogacy agreement should outline the intended parents’ responsibilities in such situations, including any necessary financial and emotional support.
